How does the flame effect work?
Ultrasonic modules turn water into a cool mist, which is illuminated by LED optics. A controlled airflow shapes the mist into soft, dynamic “flame” patterns.
What water should I use for Pyrox?
You can use regular tap water, but for the best long-term performance, we recommend distilled water.

If you live in an area with hard water (high mineral content), using distilled water is highly recommended. It prevents mineral buildup, protects the ultrasonic modules from clogging, and ensures the flame effect remains clear and consistent.
How long does one water fill last?
A full 1-gallon fill delivers up to 30 hours of continuous ambience on the lowest mist setting. Runtime varies naturally with your chosen flame intensity.
Does Pyrox produce any smell or smoke?
No. Pyrox runs solely on water and LED light, so it generates no smell, smoke, or soot.
Does Pyrox heat the room?
No. Pyrox is designed purely for atmosphere, not for heating.
What happens when water runs out?
Pyrox has an auto shut-off sensor. It stops automatically when the tank is low.
How many flame colors are there?
Seven. Each mode creates a different atmosphere: warm amber, golden glow, blue, green, purple, red, and turquoise.
Does Pyrox need Wi-Fi or an app?
No. Pyrox works fully offline.
Where can I buy Pyrox?
Pyrox will be available exclusively on Kickstarter during the launch. After the campaign, retail availability will depend on production volumes.
